"FRIENDLY VASTNESS" by YURI TOMASHEVI
A surfer is linking together a friendly vastness of three oceans -. ocean of flowers, ocean of water and ocean of air ...
This shot was taken at an ocean shore in Half Moon Bay, California, USA. It is a sunny spring day and there is an abundance of yellow flowers near the ocean ... Half Moon Bay is a well known spot for surfers around a world ... Surfers are swimming at Half Moon Bay all year around ... A surfer is really a central figure in Half Moon Bay in any sense...
About Yuri Tomashevi
My name in art is Yuri Tomashevi. Over fifty of my adult years were spent in physics, engineering, and software. I am an optimistic person who loves to be creative. I have patents in every field I worked in. In photography and digital art, I try to make artworks with an uplifting mood in those works. I like dark humor. My favorite humorous quote is, "Life is hard, but do not worry, it is short." With that in mind, let's brighten life as much as possible without being excessively sweet. Outside Achievements: Under my pen name Victor Torvich I published the non-fiction book "Subsurface History of Humanity: Direction of...

In the previous Billboard competitions, there was no winner with an abstract style image. I believe it is important for the contest participants, all FAA members, and any viewers to know that the diversity of top images in Billboard competitions could be expanded. My only entry in Billboard 2022 competitions is my abstract image "Dance of Colors Abstract Composition 1H", which had already won 1st place in the "Modern home colorful abstracts" contest. I think this image is worth your vote. *** Next is the link to vote for this image in the Billboard 2022 competition. *** https://fineartamerica.com/contests/billboard-contest-2022.html?tab=vote&artworkid=42876688
