This shot was taken at Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, USA. People at a bottom of Bryce canyon are heading in different directions. Those people provide a real scale to Bryce hoodoos.
Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos. Formed in sedimentary rock, hoodoo shapes are affected by the erosional patterns of alternating hard and softer rock layers. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. At Bryce Canyon, hoodoos range in size from that of an average human to heights exceeding a 10-story building.
