Description
"CARVED BLUE WAVES" by YURI TOMASHEVI
Blue waves abstract .. carved by nature … on a tree. This beautiful pattern was formed by bark on a tree and it was highly enhanced by bark wrinkles. If you look at a place on a tree where a thick branch arises from the tree then you could see some bark deformation. In this case the deformation took a form of waves.

Ulmus parvifolia tree, commonly known as the Chinese elm or lacebark elm, is a species native to eastern Asia.
A small to medium deciduous, semi-deciduous (rarely semi-evergreen) tree growing to 10–18 m (33–59 ft) tall and 15–20 m (49–66 ft) wide with a slender trunk and crown. The leathery, lustrous green single-toothed leaves are small, 2–5 cm long by 1–3 cm broad, and often retained as late as December or even January in Europe and North America.
The showy, exfoliating bark reveals random, mottled patterns of grey, green, orange, and brownwith tans and reds, adding great textural and visual interest.
